I like addressing different kinds of audiences and venues. Last year I spent five weeks on a lecture tour across the United States. I also spoke at the Guardian Newsroom in London and to libraries and local History groups as well as at conferences and seminars. I enjoy television and radio work (I've scripted and presented several radio progammes) and have done many interviews for ‘Woman’s Hour’ and other Radio 4 and Radio Wales programmes.
